Another new Canadian record has been set!
Two days ago, at the IAAF World Challenge, Mohammed Ahmed, an athlete with the Niagara Olympic Club, broke a 9-year old record in the Men’s 3,000m.
His new time of 7:40.49 beats the previous record set by Kevin Sullivan which was a time of 7:41.61. He also owns the 3,000 metre indoor record, with a time of 7:40.11, set at the 2016 Millrose Games.
