This weekend, Athletics Ontario will be co-hosting the first Outdoor Combined Events meet in cooperation with Fédération Québécoise d’Athlétisme and Athletics New Brunswick. With a number of athletes registered to attend, we are excited to bring this unique opportunity to our Combined Events athletes.
As a reminder, the event will have a rolling schedule with a minimum of 30 minutes between the end of one event and the start of another. The Chief Referee of the combined events will confirm the start time of the next event at the conclusion of the previous event. The preliminary start time of the first event of each day is 1:30 PM for the Decathlon (100m and 110m hurdles) and 1:30 PM for the heptathlon (100m hurdles and long jump). The final schedule was confirmed yesterday.Â
Check in: Athletes must check in 30 min. prior to the start of their first event at the start line. Athletes that fail to check in 30 min. before the start of their event will be scratched and will not be permitted to participate in the event.
